Appearance:
Standing at a humble 5'1" with a slim build, few expect Amethyst to be a vampire from one of the more violent houses. Though her bright crimson eyes, blond hair and pale skin does evoke the stereotypical image of one of the kindred. The typically impassive expression she wears is does tend to shift her image into that of a doll, rather than an inhuman creature. Additionally, her mature - if not typically masculine - preference in clothing lends itself to the latter, that very few expect the predatory smile that she can display. Amethyst prefers muted colors and fittingly masculine shades of tan and grey with red and yellow being her first choices for true colors, but is not against dressing up when the occasion calls for it.
Personality:
A casual observer would likely see Amethyst the timid bookworm from her youth. While not exactly wrong, it would be a mistake to assume that she was still the same child that she was back then. She still reads, though her books now tend to cover philosophical topics than the fairy tails of her youth - a sign of the surprisingly cohesive mind behind the cackling sociopath that her reputation makes her out to be. The two extremes are different sides of the same coin; but neither are truly telling of her personality.
Truth be told, she is far less broken that most assume, and many of her quirks are born from her reliance on instinct to make decisions that she deem unimportant. Most are often lost when Amethyst takes control of a conversation, saying the first thing that comes to mind with no concern for relevance to the current topic. This is an unfortunate habit that colors nearly all of her actions, with the rare exceptions while planning a hunt, stalking her quarry or spending time with particularly close friends. Being immature certainly does not makes things better - though she could hardly be blamed, when she had spent the better part of a century surrounded by practically immortal genteel thrill seekers. This also had an effect on her manner of speech, making her rather ostentatious in her language and at times, surprisingly obscene in her humor. Though only her sire truly understands her unnatural obsession with fire.
Going even further would uncover an even more surprising truth. As easy as violence and brutality come to Amethyst, she isn't motivated by revenge, by justice or even a twisted sense of morality. Rather, she sees herself as a hero, one broken by the harshness of reality. Every head she mounts on a plaque is another fairy tale that doesn't need to be written - no princess needs saving, no children tempted by witches. Lacking any answers regarding the tragic death of her parents, the stories of her sire have convinced her that mystic kind were the cause. The irony of her condition is one of the reasons that she dreads boredom, as that always invites idle questions.
It would be easy to say that her mind revolves around her obsession, but she is easily excited by new things. Which unfortunately means that strangers have a tendency to be bombarded by questions, and those that seem capable enough are quickly challenged. Fortunately for the latter, a hunt and a duel are two different things and she is unlikely to try and serious injure anyone in a spar - though she does not quite know how strong she is at times. She does hold a high degree reverence for traditions and ceremonies, and setting down rules beforehand means she will typically try to follow them.
History:
Born on the January 11th, 1913 in an isolated manor in southern England, Amethyst was the second daughter in a family of mages that specialized in spirit magic. It was often said among their more distant relations that the timid little blonde was overshadowed by her sister. Ruby, who was only three years her senior, seemed to be more talented in the family arts; perhaps in everything. Her more modest talents were easily forgotten. Not that it mattered to young Amethyst, who was enamored with her doting sister, following her footsteps as a duckling does its mother. The two were as different as night and day, but were inseparable.
Unfortunately, the innocence of youth could not last forever, and the illusion of paradise was abruptly shattered just days before her tenth birthday. Having spent most of the day in the capital shopping for clothes, she was personally spared from the tragedy that befell the rest of her family, the effect of coming home to a roaring fire rather a loving family was equally devastating. The shocked carriage driver had to pull his inconsolable charge away from the flames, when the girl seemingly tried to walk past what used to be the front door of the manor. Rather than the party she had been expecting, Amethyst wore her new gown to a funeral instead.
Overwhelmed with grief, the already introverted girl withdrew further into silence. Nominally, she had been left in the care of a close family friend, but the man had been missing for some time and none of her relatives were eager to take in such a melancholic child. She ended up living with several sympathetic servants in a small apartment in the city. Despite a harsh first year, young Amethyst managed to balance the budget for her small household with the meager allowance she received from what inheritance her relatives did not claim. The girl would readily attend any event that she was required to, but otherwise confined herself to her room.
Another three years passed before any thing changed; its herald was one Lord Castor Creed. The old, yet impeccably dressed, gentleman arrived at her door one day, claiming to be an acquaintance of her absent guardian. The man had nothing to support his claim, yet none doubted his word and he quickly integrated into the household. Even the young mistress of the house was lured out of her self-imposed prison by fantastic tales. Some seemed to be stories of his time in the heart of Africa, but her favorite were the ones that seemed to come straight from the fairy tales. The ones where the mythical creatures stalked the lands and were slain by mighty heroes. However, unlike other children, she did not praise the hero nor fear the monsters. At the end of each story, she would cut him off, whispering to herself.
"Happily ever after..."
While he acted the part of her guardian, in truth Lord Creed was an agent from the Clan Godwyn, and saw the girl as an excellent and discreet source of resources. Funneling resources from her various holdings towards the clan to fuel the typical aggressive expansion of House Sanguineus. Still, he could not felt some sort of kinship with the awkward child with a realistic but broken outlook on life. A bond that was only strengthened when she asked him to stop hiding his illicit activities, stating that it made doing the accounting much more difficult. It was at that moment that he admitted the truth. She was surprised, but so was her so called guardian. Her first reaction was to ask if the stories were all true, smiling weakly when he nodded.
Two more years passed, and slowly the servants started to leave as more and more resources were diverted away from the household. One night, however, they were all asked to leave. Amethyst thanked them all for their years of loyal service, paid them their dues, and asked them to leave within the week. Once they were all gone, a fire consumed the small apartment. Sobbing laughter was heard in the quiet streets city that night as two shadows boarded a ship bound for Africa. Without knowing, Amethyst followed in the footsteps of her beloved sister; embracing undeath a only a year after Ruby.
From there, Amethyst and her new family spent years indulging in their collective obsession: hunting large game and the occasional mystic kind. Each had their reasons. Some wanted revenge, some merely enjoyed themselves. It didn't matter. They didn't ask. Young Amethyst enjoyed letting her instinct loose for once, no longer chained to the image of family; but a small part of her cast these inhuman creatures as the culprit for the fire that was the source all her misfortune. Soon the young clan grew bored with what the continent could offer, but it was then that the second world war started.
Noting that the Old World was likely to have a different breed of monsters than the jungles of Africa, the clan volunteered to serve a secretive branch of the Allied military. Pursuing their own agendas, only truly mobilizing when specifically ordered to battle - after all, the battlefield was an excellent place to satisfy their vampiric hunger. At this point, Amethyst had yet to earn her silver plated cuirass, but the battlefield was relatively safe when you could take several bullets to the chest and move on without a worry. Near the end of the war in Europe, however, she would finally learn her lesson. After an attack on an outlying but heavily fortified fortress on the Siegfried line, her clan recognized her as a veteran, a "Silverback" and the German soldiers soldiers found another nightmare. The final broadcast from the unfortunate fortress was "sie das unbekannte war" followed by cackling laughter.
The clan had started to imagine what kind of hunting grounds awaited them in the East when the Nazis enacted their final gambit. While Amethyst and her sire survived, holed up in the fortress they had recently capture, but those not involved in the costly assault were decimated. They abandoned the war, and thus ended the golden days of Clan Godwyn. When the political upheaval within the House started to get violent, the clan leaders knew that weakened and still reeling from their losses, the little coterie could no longer maintain true independence and folded to the rising power.
Since then, much like the rest of her clan, Amethyst has wandered the world. Not foolish enough to hunt bigger game without the solid support of her clan, she has been relatively calm recently, making do with the rogue shifter or the occasional daemon. When the news of the demon outbreaks in the region reached her ears, she quickly traveled to Lakecrest, hoping to find another battlefield to relive the glory days - completely unaware of another who had made their home in the city.

Skills:
Name: Unarmed Melee (Clan Godwyn Style)
Description: A style of combat taught and practiced by the members of Clan Godwyn which is based on getting up close and making the most of their vampiric strength. Motions tend to be explosive, but only beginners rely solely on brute force. A scion of the clan is expected to be a hunter, first and foremost, and to rely on instinct alone is the mark of a beast - something that Amethyst has only begun to learn.
While nominally an "unarmed" style of combat, a Sanguineus vampire has their weapons flowing through their veins and members of Clan Godwyn are also quite familiar with the use of spears and other pole arms when they need to; or when the fancy strikes.
Rank: E
Name: Firearms (Rifles)
Description: The knowledge and skill of using ballistic weaponry in combat. Rank E is considered basic training, while rank D would be an expert – anything higher is more in the bounds of gun-kata styled feats. While actually unnecessary given their preference for getting up close, but can a hunter truly be one without working knowledge of large caliber rifles?
Rank: E
Name: Stealth
Description: The capacity to be clandestine. To reach a goal or destination without anyone noticing. The skill to lower what presence the body may possess. A required skill for thieves, infiltrators, and assassins.

Rank: E
Abilities:
Name: Blood Conversion Organ (Fire)
Description: The Sanguineus have an unique organ in their bodies that allows them to convert their blood into mana so that they could manipulate the four main elements to their will. While ironic, the effect fire has on kindred, the ability to manipulate fire is quite fitting for Amethyst - if albeit unhealthy.
Rank: E
Name: Sanguine Voracity
Description: As Amethyst thirsts for blood, her own blood seems to hunger for flesh. A side effect of a hyper-active blood conversion organ, her blood is a very strong acid - typically around pH 4.5, but can flare up to extreme levels in times of duress. Needless to say, most biological matter can be dissolve with time. While she isn't about to bleed on her prey for a slight advantage, it does allow her to eat real food; though it offer no practical benefit. Of course it does cause slight discomfort and has caused more than one turning to fail.
Rank: E
Name: Clotting Weaponry
Description: The ability to create blood constructs separated from the body. Such constructs are formed into the shapes of conventional weaponry, mostly of melee nature. But they can also grow extra limbs made out of their own blood. The toughness and power of these blood weapons is reflected by their rank. Even armors and shields can be formed with this ability.
Rank: E
Name: Regeneration
Description: Vampires are capable of healing from their inflicted wounds on their own. This is what makes them difficult to kill. Due to this ability, they actually are able to survive wounds that may kill an average person. It takes supernatural attacks to make any lasting effect, especially those of holy nature which has the most effectiveness.
Rank: E
Name: Frenzy
Description: The maddened state of a vampire, their natural fight or flight response. Frenzy can be induced when a factor of massive stress is presented to them. Under that newly presented factor, vampires would either try to eliminate/kill what caused it to frenzy or flee out of fear. Some of it maybe a cause of their anger, desperation, or many other forms of reasons. Many vampires who frenzy tend to become numb to pain. However, they are still capable of being damaged. Most vampires who frenzy tend to lack motor functions as they are in a berserk state.
Rank: E

The blaze quickly reaches its peak size, around a half-a-meter in diameter, before exploding violently. Those caught within the blast suffer E+ rank damage and may be set on fire, given the circumstances.
Rank: E
Unit Cost: 6 units
Type: Technique - Offensive
Name: Starburst Spray
Description: A technique that uses her very blood as a medium. By somehow spraying droplets of her blood and focusing on each, Amethyst is able to fill an area roughly in a meter around her with a shower of small but violent explosions - akin to a flash grenade with a bit more force. Anyone caught in a one meter radius of her suffers E- rank damage and receives a negative modifier "-" to their Agility.
Give her vulnerability to fire, there is a safe area immediately around her person.
